Drawing inspiration from traditional cross-stitch embroidery, this graphic Christmas pattern translates a handcrafted technique into a graphic surface design. The use of a structured grid and simplified festive motifs references the visual language of embroidery.
The pattern system includes three background color variations: white, pink, and a multicolor version, while maintaining consistent motif colors. This approach allows flexibility and adaptability across different products and contexts.
The pattern is shown across different contextual applications to highlight its scalability and versatility, adapting in scale from full wall surfaces to accent areas and table textiles.
This project highlights a surface design approach that combines traditional references with a contemporary graphic language, resulting in a flexible pattern system suitable for seasonal and decorative products.
