Master's Thesis
Inspired by woven rugs of nomadic life, Safar reimagines the carpet as a carrier of light and memory. Rooted in movement, it is more than a lamp, it is a companion that travels, adapts, and reshapes space.
Made of recycled PET mesh, its foldable surface recalls the flexibility of rugs, with alternating LED and opaque segments that create rhythm and texture.
Lightweight and portable, it invites interaction: move it, hang it, curl it... bringing flexibility and emotional connection indoors or outdoors.
